"Finally someone with sense"

"They are after you for breaking the law I'm sure" David replied.

"I don't think so." Octavion says as he picks up a jar of a powdery substance and throws it at David. The jar manages to hit David in the face.

"Come on, let's get outta here!" Octavion shouts as he and Anastasia took advantage of David's temporary blindness and took off.

The northerners decide to go north independently of the group of heroes (Ida is told to stay with the heroes).

David meanwhile is cursing "wait till I capture you bavarian!"

"Why do I have to stay with you?" Ida asks. (moreover wines) "I like these guys."

Meanwhile, the mage's body (it's dead by this point) is still being stripped of flesh, which is forming perfectly functional limbs on the torso and the beginnings of a faceless skull.

Aaron turns around to see the body take shape "What the hell?"

The torso, supported by several of the tentacles, was rising into a standing position. Skin was beginning to cover its face (thankfully) and eyes began to form in its empty sockets.

Aaron raises his hands in mocking gesture "WE COME IN PEACE"

Octavion and Anastasia continue to run back to the city.

"Hey you two!" David yelled after the Greeks "Stop! I demand that in the name of the law you stop this instant."

With no effect he runs after them muttering "#@$! criminals. Trying to trick me. Not likely!"

The woman's body is now almost entirely complete, the tentacles shrinking back into her arms, legs and hair. With her face actually intact now, she was quite pretty, in a steely and robotic sort of way.

Aaron whistles "This is something else"

The rune-priest who'd initiated the explosions was meanwhile in the city, seeking to speak to a old friend. Of course that friend would be in a high place [Sirius if you want to enter your character...].

Anastasia and Octavian meanwhile approach the city gates, which are guarded by half-sleeping guards. One of them is actually snoring.

Aaron walks closer to the forming human "Are you what that priest was trying to revive?"

The last traces of the adamant tentacles disappeared. The woman stared at Aaron impassively, not answering the question. Her hair (which was a shiny blue-black not unlike that of the adamant) twitched slightly as though in a breeze, though being underground there was none.

"Who are you?"

"Yes, worthless priest, what do you want?" Stamatios asked the priest who approached him.

"You've probably heard the explosions in the ruins. Well, I know who did it." the rune-priest said "they are dangerous sorcerers. Fortunately I can draw them for you [using magic to make it photo-looking]."

The woman continued to stare impassively and not respond to Aaron's prompting.

Aaron waves his hand in front of her eyes and then snaps his fingers to get a responds

Smoldar waves a flame in front of her face

Aaron's movements get her to step back a pace. Smoldar's action...well, a lock of her hair immediately turned into the same spiked adamant tentacles seen before and lashed out at him hard.

Aaron looks at Smolder with a raised eyebrow "Really?"

"It was worth a shot, at least we know she isn't a vegetable. " Smoldar says, jumping away from the tentacle.
