I have a long day coming up, so someone would have to take over playing the NPC guards (everyone except David).

Sorry I didn't see your roll. I was typing while you were rolling...but like the dice roll, I think the result was favorable.

By the way Mycro, your character finds that the priests blood has been turned into stone and that magical residue is still present, meaning the crime has recently been commited.

I'm going to assume they don't follow my hexenwulf-based therianthropy rules?

Therianthropes are people capable of changing back and forth into animals (think Animagi from Harry Potter) via a magic-embued belt made from the animal they are changing into (a la hexenwulfs from The Dresden Files). They don't have to be wolves, they can be, for example, crocodiles, bears, boars, etc.

Also they don't necessarily have to be belts, they can be arm/wrist/headbands too. So one well-trained therianthrope can turn into a number of different animals in quick succession.

Well this guy was born a werewolf so these would be his powers

Human forum:he would get a lot stronger and faster then normal humans. and his body would put out a smell that make woman like him a lot but it wouldn't work on men. His skin and bones Luke be stronger then normal but a good sword would still hurt him.

Wolf forum:he would be faster and stronger then his human forum and since he was born a werewolf he could change back at anytime And the moon wouldn't make him change but would make I'm a lot stronger at night and even more if the moon was out. He would be able to be kills without his head being cut off or silver(I guessing in this RP werewolves arnt heard of so they wouldn't know that) and his bit would kill a vampire like nothing else can he can heal really fast but limbs take a long time to grow back and his skin in wolf forum is like iron.

*hisssssss* Twilight. Get that crap away from me.

Oh, and most weapons in this world would necessarily be made from mithril, which has silver in it. i.e. yeah, that's not a terribly big advantage. Anyone coming loaded for bear against mages (which is most people for obvious reasons) is going to be able to lay out some hurt on you.

Mycrodeeth wrote:As an example, silver and steel can be bonded alchemically to create mithril, which is a light and very malleable metal used for armor because of its property of acting as an antimagic shield. Silver is pure and iron is unyielding so they together represent the physical override of magic (or somesuch. Basically silver kills werewolves and vampires while cold iron kills faeries and I BSed an excuse)

I did, but meh. You shouldn't be getting hit with things if you do things properly anyway, it hurts.

Well, no. Like I said, it's used for weapons and armor, so it's not like you have mithril spoons, shovels, or wood axes.

As for the "out of silver" bit...alchemy. Alchemy and the Otherworld.

Actually Gaara, there are no set laws of physics for T&T. The stranger whom I have yet to name, doesn't follow Mycro's magic system or at least very loosely. If you want to keep your werewolf concept you can...after all, we are all GMs.

Does your magic system give holy/ancient objects magical value (like in Dresden files)?
