The orc snarls, saying that he will talk to none but the King. Pikel looks at Turganne, and says "Well, we may as well just knock down this tunnel, and go bring this filthy goblin before the King.

"Aye sir," One of them say. "Come on you scum," Ivan says as he drags the orc over the stone out the tunnel. "You sure we shouldn't knock down that tunnel?" asks Ivan, "More might come out o' thar, and we don't have enough dwarves here to take on a large force."

"Very well," Ivan says, "we'll leave it up to the King. Well, let's hurry, I don't want to have goblins roaming lower Erebor."

Maria was walking through the countryside. Her hand was on a golden coin hung around her neck (her good luck charm). She was walking rapidly vary of what surprises would come if it should become dark.

As Maria is walking through the desolate wasteland that is the Brown Lands, she sees some rocky hills ahead of her. The Emyn Muil. They are practically impassable, as are the marshes that are directly south of them. The best way to cross the Anduin would be north of them. Hopefully tomorrow she will get to the River.

Turganne comes before King Dain, who rises, saying "Hello, worthy Turganne, I hear we have some trouble in the tunnels?"

King Dain starts as the orc is brought forward. "An orc, in my halls? What is the meaning of this?"

Latnir saw the man and told the Elf standing next to him on guard and asked what he should do.

"Hmm...." King Dain muses. "Very well. Why do you come to my halls, orc?" The orc looks at him and says, "You will all burn. My Master will kill you. The end of all is coming."

Gwindle strikes one of the wargs in the head, killing it. Unfortunately, one of his men is already dead, leaving him with 9 men.

The elf next to Latnir runs down to tell the Lord Elrond. The man is only 2 miles off now.

As it gets dark, Maria hears howling. Not wolf howling, but orc howling. It seems to be coming from the Emyn Muil, which means they should be easily avoided.

"Why can't there just be a nice tavern to sleep in?" she muttered to herself. Better find a spot to hide before things get nasty.

After a quick look around, Maria sees a small cave in the rock. Not very big, but practically invisible until you stumble onto it.

Maria decided that she didn't have much choice but to hide in the hole. It would be ironic she mused if something lived in the hole.
