Pokémon Lavender

"Riolu found something...something really bad. That type of reaction, gives me a bad feeling about this. His rage can be seen from a region and a half away from him. The pack must have been killed or captured, either way, they are gone and Riolu is really angry. They had perfect defences for any wild Pokemon attack. Yet they hid themselves from humans so well, it is rare to see one of them." Riley said as he looked at Rob. "They were ready for anything! How could they dissapear like that?!" Riley yelled as pain was evident in his voice as he took ragged breaths. He was still shaken, that was obvious.

"If the defences are as good as you say, how could this have happened? Rob asks , ignoring a glare from Jack.

"They may have been betrayed by somebody that knew the defenses. That trained with them, fought with them, and lived as one of them." Riley says as his eyes glaze over and looks like he is lost in thought. But Riley and Riolu have talked about the past and have mentioned an exile before.

"Were there any other humans or non Lucario pokemon there?"

"Besides me, no.... But there was one that was thrown from the pack, one of the teachers. Why would he betray his own kind?" Riley asked aloud as his eyes remain glazed over. You could over your thoughts to him and try to help out.

November, who wasn't aware of Riley's dilemma, thanked the bug trainer for saving her.

"No problem." Desmond said, grinning.

After a couple hours of travel, Vermilion City's coastline appeared in the distance. Of note was the large building directly on the coast bearing the PI logo, with an industrial-looking installation extending out over the sea.

Riley frowned at the city, he had recovered an hour ago from Riolu's outburst and is now a little enraged himself.

"Ready to give these Peabrain Idiots a real headache?" Riley asked the group before creating an aura sphere in his right hand.

November was ready to sneak into PI headquarters. Leo on the other hand argued that it would be illegal and thus foolish to try to break into a cooperate building.

Jack was up for anything, as long as that anything involved the group blasting down the doors and frying anyone in their way. Rob on the other hand agreed with Leo.

"Come on, guys. They're going to murder millions of people, I think we can ignore the rules this one time." Serena said pleadingly.

Desmond, on the other hand, was looking slightly nervous. He hadn't considered that the actions they were going to take might be illegal.

"For once I agree with you." Says Jack looking at Serena.

"I am honestly not sure how to take that." Serena said drily, folding her arms.

"Take it as you will, I just wanna fry those suckers."

"Saving lives is more important than laws. Rob, don't you want to keep your family safe? Leo, what about the innocent Pokemon that would get killed if we don't do this? Are you both going to give all that up just for a few laws?" Riley asked as he turned to Desmond. "Do I even need to ask you to help save lives?"

"I would do anything to keep them safe, and I'm sure Jack would do the same but think about it, we're a few, supposedly insane teenagers storming into a corporate building."

"No, it's just...ah, well...we could..." Desmond visibly decided not to say whatever it was and changed the subject. "No. I will save all the lives!"

"I think it's pretty clear that whoever the CEO of PI is is the insane one, not us." Serena said, looking slightly annoyed at the implication that she was insane. She was perfectly sane. She thought.

"And didn 't someone here say they have the cops in their pockets? And I meant that everyone else would think us insane." Says Rob.

"Points have been made yet the mission hasn't changed! We are all here to save lives, human and Pokemon alike. If you aren't in," Riley says before walking onto a aura platform. "Then I'm better off on my own." Riley finishes as he walks over the water's surface to the nearest dock. He jumped on before turning back to the rest of the group. "If you can't break laws to save lives then you have no point being here at all! Bad guys don't play by the rules, why should we?!"

"All right I'm in. " says Rob.

"That's the spirit." Says Jack, slapping Rob on the back.

Serena stepped onto the dock as well, followed a moment later by Desmond.

A few guards wearing PI security uniforms started their way.

Jack and Rob step onto the dock. Rob turns back to the Gyradose and says , "thank you for your help May, even after your boat was totaled."

"Guys, I think we have a problem" said November pointing at the guards.

Riley turned to the guards, the aura sphere hovering behind his back.

"Hey there, do you know where we might find the local gym? We traveled really far to battle the leader." Riley says as he calmly walked to the center of the dock and waited for the PI Grunts. "We really need to battle the gym leader." Riley said as he smiled sincerely at the grunts.

"Get lost, kids. This is private property." The two guards stood shoulder-to-shoulder along the dock, barring access into the Pitchblende installation the dock led to.
