Luxio tries to shake off the mud and Jolt stays under May and the Swinub.

Golett, meanwhile, tripped and the plunger flew out of its hands, losing its hold on the Pokéball, affixing itself to Jolt's face.

(No the Pokeball that was in the plunger would have hit Jolt before the plunger attached itself.)

Jolt was almost knocked off balance but he jumped away from the glass while trying to get the plunger head off.

Golett looked slightly put out. Dawn, however, saw the issue and immediately rushed over to help...

[Given Dawn's utter lack of upper-body strength, I'm assuming 15 or higher to remove. Fortunately she seems to have really good luck with this, thanks to all the *ahem* experience she's got. Rollin.]

Unfortunately Dawn couldn't get it off, though at the same time neither she nor Jolt ended up cutting themselves on the broken glass. "Why isn't there some easy way to get these off...?" she lamented, releasing the plunger handle and trying to regain her breath.

Jolt reached under his pant leg and pulled out a combat knife. He tapped the blade on the plunger.

"You want me to try and cut it off?" Dawn guessed, looking slightly nervous.

Jolt nodded after a slight hesitation before remembering that he was at a Pokemon center.

Hesitantly, Dawn took the knife and tried sticking it in the plunger head...

The blade slipped off and sliced Jolt's face wide open. Dawn screamed and dropped the knife. "I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryOhArceusI'msosorry!!!" she blurted, clasping her hands to her mouth in horror.

Luxio attacked Dawn and was getting ready to use electric fang at close range and was planing to cut her the same way that she cut its master. Jolt tried to remove the plunger.

Golett took exception to Luxio's intentions and grabbed the Electric-type's tail, stopping it from reaching Dawn, who by this point was just backing away in horror.

The plunger came off and Jolt put pressure in his cut. Luxio started to fight back but was called off by Jolt.

"Sorry Dawn, he was taught to defend me at all costs. He saw you as a threat when you cut me." Jolt says grabbing the knife and keeping the cut away from Dawn. He gets up and walks inside the pokemon enter and starts his own stitches which weren't bad at all. The cut wouldn't scar if left alone. Jolt walked back outside and sheaths the knife. "You were under pressure don't worry about it." Jolt says assuringly.

Golett, vindicated, whacked Luxio (not too hard) in the rump with the plunger.

"...I'm sorry." Dawn said again.

"Hey this would have been a wicked battle scar but it was just a few micrometers away from scarring. Too bad for me, but you shouldn't worry about me." Jolt says placing a hand on her shoulder as he pulls out his badge. "This small piece of metal puts me in the line of fire for multiple bad guys of the world, but it's my job to protect. Your job is to survive as long as you can." Jolt says putting away his badge. "Long story short, many people want me dead because of my line of work, and you are not one of them. Just forget about it and try smiling every once and awhile. Okay?" Jolt asks as he gives Dawn a reassuring smile.

Dawn nodded mutely, still slightly traumatized. Although in retrospect, it was refreshing to have someone not trying to stick a plunger in her face but instead accepting an apology. Then something occurred to her. "Wait, you and Dragon are in the same job, right? You're both police?"

"Slightly, Dragon is black ops, most of his work is top secret. My work is intel and capture but not black ops, they could read my files but they are unknown to me." Jolt says shrugging. "Don't know if Dragon was really Dragon before joining Black ops since the files would have been purged."

"Ok and what does that have to do with me?" Waren asks walking over to the machine in question, he sees the plunger on the floor, snatches it, and puts it in his lab coat... Just in case.

"Dragon must of thought you could revers the shadowing of legendary Pokemon and he just gave you your first test subject." Jolt says before his eyes loose their conscious shine. "That jerk planned this, he had a motive the whole time, and he is using me to complete the op!" Jolt shouts as he figures out the reasons to Dragon's actions. "He must have seen us getting to this Pokemon center for your testing!" Jolt shouts before he looks at Dawn with a shocked look on his face. "He even planned to bug you during this whole fiasco."
